Genus: Psuedolaguvia Misra

Body elongated and subcylindrical, head compressed. A prominent adhesive thoracic apparatus present, forming a muscular skin fold with a distinct pit. Mouth inferior, barbels 4 pairs, maxillary and mandibular annulated. Caudal fin forked, skin rough and tuberculated.

Diagnosis: Dorsal spine smooth, pectoral spine serrated posteriorly with 5 teeth. Thoracic adhesive apparatus elongated extending past insertion of pectoral fin with a central depression.
