Body short and rounded. Barbels absent, Scales on lateral line larger than others. Lateral line incomplete, a black blotch along front margin of anal fin and one at tip of the dorsal fin.

Diagnosis: Black blotch at caudal fin base large, covering more than 1/3 of caudal peduncle depth; anal fin without black spot or blotch; dorsal profile in front of dorsal fin humped.
