The Director General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) accompanied by Thai delegates visited the Centre on 8th December, 2022. The officials were given a brief tour around the farm premises while interacting with the staffs.

On a week-long program, delegates from Royal Project Foundation, Thailand visited the Centre at Haa and Harachhu. The visit was to primarily provide technical assessment of existing rearing facility and infrastructure for the development and up scaling of sturgeon farming in the country.

The Centre has successfully conducted the annual office rimdro. It was presided over by the venerable Lam Neten of Haa Dratshang. The rimdro was basically performed for spiritual welfare of the staffs, the organization and well-being of all sentient beings.

Dasho Sonam Topgay, the Chief Election Commissioner of Bhutan accompanied by a team of officials visited the National Research and Development Centre for Riverine and Lake Fisheries on 26 September 2022. A coordination meeting was held on 26 September 2022 via Google Meet to discuss work plans pertaining to the implementation of community-based capture fisheries-related activities for the FY 2022-23. The meeting was attended by seven member officials from three district livestock sectors. The Fishery Resource Management Unit under NRDCRLF coordinated the meeting.
