Genus: Glossogobius Gill
Body elongated, rounded anteriorly and compressed posteriorly, head depressed, cheek and operculum naked, pelvic fin oblong, united mid ventrally.
Diagnosis: 12 pored scales in upper lateral series, total 42 -43 pored scales, caudal fin marked with spots, dorsal fin with staggered rows of spots.
Distribution: Khaini khola (Dagana); Torsa (Chukha)
