In November 2023, the Centre supplied Laja Trout Farm in Laja Geog, Dagana, with 3,500 fingerlings as part of a subsidy initiative. This support has empowered the subsistence farm to produce 0.22 metric tons of table-sized fish. Today, Laja Trout Farm has successfully started marketing its fish, marking a significant milestone in its journey. In the future, it plans to expand into a mega commercial enterprise.
