Dr. Karin van de Braak and Dr. Nancy Nevejan of Global Good Aquaculture Practices (GAP) provided hands-on of training to participants from the National Research and Development Centre for Riverine and Lake Fisheries, from 5-8 September 2022. During the training, the resource personnel covered modules and techniques in water quality monitoring, fish health, and nutrition. The training also covered Recirculatory Aquaculture System, which is crucial given that the Centre is gearing towards exploring such technologies for upscaling fish production efforts in the country. Participants were awarded the Certificate of Completion at the end of the training program.
